Freight

Items purchased from Fine Woodcraft Gallery, Pemberton are sent all over the world.  This includes the largest of our tables.  Only about 30% of the wonderful things purchased from this Gallery will reside in Western Australia.  The remainder go elsewhere, interstate and world-wide.

Australia Post items sent from Pemberton to Perth and the South-West of the State have approximately 3 days transportation. Interstate items take between 7 and 10 days for delivery. 

Items are weighed and costs are those charged by Australia Post, plus a small handling fee.  Small items are sent all over WA, Australia and the world, in this way.  International post may go by air or sea, the latter taking about 10 weeks.

Furniture is delivered in various ways according to the item and the destination.  Again, we send large items world wide.  We use Allied Pickfords for interstate and United Kingdom transportation.  We have a choice of other freight handlers to all other overseas destinations.  Freight is export wrapped for safe-keeping.  Specialised articles are sent by specialised couriers.

Clients have the choice of having their purchases sent to their door at the client’s address.  Other items go to a nearby depot or port.  It depends on the circumstances of the delivery, whether or not a client wants to collect the items from a freight pick up point.  This is less expensive than door to door delivery.

Freight charges are known prior to purchase and/or any custom-making that may be required.

Freight deliveries within the South-West and to Perth and environs are organised via a reputable removalist whom we have used for many years.
